Why the name “Veggia Bottega”- “ Old Shop” for the apartments?
A return to tradition! The choice of this name, which comes from the Ligurian dialect, was picked by its owner, Nicola Costanzo, so no one would forget that this establishment was once, from the early 70’s to the late 90’s, and now, completely restored, a small grocery store which was, and still is very characteristic and popular in small Italian villages.
In the vast garden, now like yesterday, the land is a host to a large choice of fresh vegetables, that at one time was sold on the very shelves of this small shop for the inhabitants of Diano Borganzo and, now, are grown and used by the family of the owner of this small bed and breakfast.
And, to make your stay more pleasant and exclusive, one must not forget the beautiful Ligurian surroundings, such as the vast olive tree groves of the“taggiasche” olives, from which is made the renowned and prestigious extra virgin olive oil, recognized internationally as “the king of the table”. In this small bed in breakfast, family owned and operated, what we try to offer for our clients is a mix of Italian traditions and a touch of something new, also hospitality and the possibility to let yourself relax completely surrounded by the magnificent tranquility of the northern Ligurian country side. And, in less than five minutes by car, you can find yourself on the
